September 13, 2017- Catering for Elders Quest

After practicing knife cuts for the first part of class, we were sent out to help Michelle, the Cafe manager with the Elder Quest dinner. It was pretty easy, I didn't do anything but squirt BBQ sauce and sprinkle our fried leeks on top of the BBQ chicken dinner. After that point I didn't do much else except wash dishes and finish my knife cut practices. I feel like they are improving a lot and I am finally figuring them out!

How to plate a southern style meal in an elegant way.
How to fry leeks and julienne them.
