These days were spent in preparation for a Hawaiian style dinner. I was set in charge of making the Hawaiian rice and we put a lot of coconut milk in there let me tell you. I got to slice up a pineapple nicely and add that as well. I actually had fun trying to figure out an effective way to cut up the pineapple into little chunks quickly. I also learned how to mass produce rice in the giant tilt skillet. You have to be kind of aggressive with the spatula. It was really best how our class was able to pull such a nice dinner. Being able to make the main meal and see it all go out to the people. So cool! Lots of learning opportunities. I liked doing this event.
